Sofya Laskina is a student assistant at the eScience group, she did her bachelor's in Bioinformatics at the Free University of Berlin and subsequently joined the Master's program Data Science. After her job as a student assistant, she decided to stay in the field of material sciences and is now writing her Master's thesis about Small Angle X-ray Scattering where she figures out a way to optimize 3D electron densities for solving the inverse problem in scattering.
