Katharina has a diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management from the TU Berlin. Since then she was working between business and tech while managing projects for customers developing digital and mobile solutions. Katharina joined BAM in September 2020 and therefore the exciting material science world. Currently, Katharina is working in the BAM project team for the Platform MaterialDigital (PMD) as part of the PMD executive office and especially in community interaction. She is also involved in other digitalization projects and initiatives at BAM within the communication and coordination in S.3. She is fascinated by all research areas within BAM, especially interested in data science and loves to bring projects and people together to join forces at BAM. Katharina enjoys being part of a huge project that (in teamwork with other institutes) is building something valuable and new to make material data management and material development more efficient in the future.
